Robynne Raye Talk

We were lucky enough to host Robynne Raye from Modern Dog Design at the school where I work last Tuesday. She gave a really wonderful talk geared mostly toward the students about where Modern Dog started and how she grew over time as a designer. I always find it inspiring listening to other designers speak, but it's a thousand times better when they're as lively as Robynne. She was fun, funny, insightful... it was a great jump start during the slow slump of the holidays.

Listening to her reminded me that sometimes I get too locked into the computer and that working with your hands even just to start off with can add an element of surprise (even for yourself) that nothing else can ever replace.
