My only guidelines were that it represent the global theme of the conference, be bright and colorful and have a good range of ethnicities represented in the photo. This postcard is sent out to potential participants to remind them to mark their calendars. My boss was lovely enough to take the photo, and it turned out wonderfully!
Postcard for the New Student Leadership Extravaganza. This one was surprisingly fun to make. I had a couple layouts I was really fond of, but this was the overall winner. It's got the basic school colors (we stick with maroon, tan, and blue), but just enough funkiness to (I think) make it fun.
